Oak Park Varsity Eagles With Tough Game Against Camarillo Varsity Scorpions

Oak Park Varsity Eagles couldn’t keep up with Camarillo Varsity Scorpions and fell 13-0 on Monday.

Camarillo Varsity Scorpions got on the board in the top of the first inning after #7 singled to right field, and Nate Escobar grounded into a double play, each scoring one run.

Camarillo Varsity Scorpions added to their early lead in the top of the second inning when Brayden Smith doubled, scoring two runs, #7 doubled, scoring one run, and #27 singled, scoring one run.

Camarillo Varsity Scorpions extended their early lead with two runs in the top of the third thanks to RBI singles by #26 and Smith.

Mason Tannous led things off on the mound for Oak Park Varsity Eagles. The pitcher allowed seven hits and six runs (five earned) over two innings, striking out none and walking one. Andrew Aragon stepped on the bump first for Camarillo Varsity Scorpions. The righty surrendered four hits and zero runs over six innings, striking out 11 and walking four.
